Role Overview: Russian Localization Video Game Tester
As a Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) tester, your role is to ensure the quality of game translations and software for the Russian market. You’ll work closely with a diverse team to enhance the language, cultural relevance, and overall user experience of games.
Responsibilities
Communication: Coordinate with lead testers using evaluation sheets or checklists for consistent quality across game projects.

Quality Checks: Focus on evaluations to make sure that the translated text, spelling errors, grammar errors, and punctuation are all sound and accurate.
Error Reporting: Record language inaccuracies, mistranslated terms, or incorrect usage in the translated materials.
Content Relevance: Incorporate into game content all references to and local context within the Russian culture.
Feedback: Recommend changes and other comments on Russian translations to help achieve the expectations of the client.
Key Requirements
Technical aptitude: Must be proficient in using Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Drive, among other tools.
Bilingual Proficiency: Strong skills in both Russian and English.
Cultural knowledge: in-depth understanding of Russian culture for contextual relevance.
Translation skills: knowledge and experience in translation or localization is an asset.
Availability: Able to commit to work at least three days a week.
